Creating Design Templates
Poly- M mission critical furniture, also known as Max3 consoles, are created for easy installations with a quick production turnover in mind. As a product design engineer, I was tasked to plan, prepare and populate the design library from scratch.
Planning the part's placement includes defining and standardising naming conventions (SKU). Preparing documents by gathering datasheet of common parts to be mocked accurately. Populate the design library through the mocking of different hardware parts from the supplier specification sheets.

Designing To Increase Operational Efficiency
Made in Singapore, Poly-M consoles are designed for durablility and operational efficiency. The core frame of consoles are created using metal extrusions so as to allow leeway for installing. Customisations like cabinet pedestals are designed depending on the client's needs.

Built To Support Future Modifications
Materials of the console are predominantly powder-coated RAL9017 aluminium & laminated Formica 9035 wood. Panels enclosing the consoles, are created with aluminium sheet of 1.5mm thick. The choice of materials makes future modifications a lot more easier,
